Get ready to start a singletrack love affair aboard Liv's Lust Advanced 1. This composite and aluminum race rig boasts Maestro rear suspension and a RockShox Monarch shock to conquer rough terrain, while fast-rolling 27.5-inch wheels propel you over challenging obstacles. A tapered OverDrive steerer and 15mm thru-axle on the 120mm-travel RockShox SID RL fork keeps the front end pointed exactly where you want it. SRAM's 1 x 11-speed drivetrain provides smooth shifting, with trademark light action and durability. Liv's women's-specific geometry ensures the fit and comfort levels are unbeatable, and the Giant Connect SL components—including the dropper seatpost—only add to the experience. Other awesome components include SRAM Guide hydraulic brakes, Schwalbe tubeless-ready tires, and a sleek, supportive, women's-specific Liv saddle.

Giant’s OverDrive delivers up to 30%-better cornering and sprinting stiffness and control than non-tapered front ends with:
1/2) 1 ¼-inch/1 ½-inch diameter bearings
3) 1 ¼-inch diameter Giant stem
4) Tapered fork steerer
5) Giant OverDrive steerer plug

27.5-inch wheels (also known as 650B) offer the best characteristics of 26- and 29-inch wheels for an outstanding ride.

27.5-Inch (650B) wheel/tire performance.

Efficiency: Increasing the wheel diameter decreases the angle of attack (the angle at which round objects meet square objects). The lower the angle, the easier it is to roll over obstacles and maintain momentum.

Traction: With a larger diameter, the tire's contact patch increases, putting more rubber on the trail. A 27.5-inch (650B) has nearly the same contact patch as a 29er for superb acceleration, braking and cornering.

Weight: The weight of a 27.5 wheel, tire and tube is only 5% more than an identically built 26-inch wheel. Compare this to a 12% increase with a 29-inch wheel. Lighter wheels mean a lighter bike, and better climbing and acceleration.
